The StockMonster Charity 2025 is officially completed, and what one. Together with the community, donors and webshops we have put something we are extremely proud of.
Why this action?
The Pokémon hobby has grown explosively in recent years, but unfortunately not always in favour of children. Rising prices, scarcity and greed make them increasingly out of play. While Pokémon is also a children's hobby at its core.
With this charity action, we wanted to make that right. No profits, no hidden agenda, just sharing.
The purpose
Thanks to your donations, we have been able to donate Pokémon products to:
- Sick children at the hospital
- Children from families with limited financial resources
We were in direct contact with the Sophia Children's Hospital and several toy banks spread throughout the country.
What's donated?
The amount and diversity of donations was overwhelming:
- Sealed products such as boosters, ETBs, boxes and tins
- Bulk, singles and custom charity packs
- Accessories, sleeves and portfolios
- Cuddles and other merchandise
Everything neat, child-suitable and preferably new, so children could experience the magic of opening Pokémon packages themselves.
The impact
In total we have:
- Four toy banks supported
- One Children's Hospital make happy
- Hundreds of children reached throughout the Netherlands
At both the toy banks and the hospital the reaction was the same: surprise, gratitude and especially many happy faces. For older children, for which often less suitable toys are available, Pokémon was a bull's-eye.
Acknowledgement
This action would have been impossible without the enormous commitment of the community. A special thank you to everyone who has donated, helped with logistics or simply supported the initiative.
