Ditto cards rise in price by Pokopia-hype

Pokopia possible cause of price increase

According to several responses in the thread, the price increase may be due to the recent release of Pokopia, a project involving: Ditto when mascot is used. Due to this extra attention collectors seem to get interest again in maps of this Pokémon.

Within the Pokémon TCG market this happens more often: once a specific Pokémon is back in the spotlight, the demand for cards of that Pokémon increases.

Price apps don't always give the whole picture

At the same time, some collectors warn that price apps do not always give a fully accurate picture of the market. These tools collect prices from different marketplaces, which sometimes makes values seem higher than actual sales prices.
