Pokémon appears in 2027 for the first time with a special Pokémon Valentine's Box to come. According to information from PokéBeach appears on 27 january 2027 a new Pokémon TCG Valentine's Box, filled with special mini booster packs.
That seems to be the case. The Pokémon Company to introduce a Valentine's variant of the concept we now know of the popular Trick or Trade-products around Halloween.
20 mini booster packs per Valentine's Box
According to the first information, each Valentine's Box contains:
- 20 Valentine's Day mini booster packs
- 3 Pokémon cards per mini booster
- 5 sticker sheets
- A package that can be converted to a kind Valentine's Letterbox
So in total there are 60 Pokémon cards in a box.
The products seem mainly intended to be distributed to friends and classmates around Valentine's Day. A similar concept has been used for the Trick or Trade products for years, whereby small Pokémon bomber packs around Halloween can be distributed instead of candy.
Special Valentine's stamp?
Which cards exactly are in the set is not yet known. There are also no official product images published.
PokéBeach expects the concept to be comparable to Trick or Trade. These sets consist mainly of existing Pokémon cards that are re-released with a special Halloween stamp.
It is therefore possible that the Valentine's Day set also consists of reprints with a special Valentine's stamp, although this has not yet been confirmed.
A set with Pokémon as Luvdisc, Sylveon, Pikachu or Tandemaus would of course fit perfectly within the theme, but which Pokémon actually become part of the collection is still unknown.
First Pokémon Valentine's Set
If the information is correct, this will be the first time that Pokémon such a TCG collection specifically around Valentine's Day it's all right.
It would also fit well within the strategy used by Pokémon with Trick or Trade: Inexpensive small boosters that not only target collectors, but are mainly designed to distribute Pokémon cards in an accessible way.
The Valentine's Box would be on 27 january 2027 should appear, more than two weeks before Valentine's Day on February 14.
Is the Pokémon Valentine's Box also coming to the Netherlands?
It's not known yet. No official European or Dutch announcement has yet been made and information on the advisory price is currently lacking.
