Buy 30th Celebration? These are the products we would and would not take (6 October 2026)

Buy 30th Celebration? Pokémon 30th Celebration has been out for a few weeks and it is clear: It's a long way from quiet. Products quickly disappear from stock, Booster Bundles and Mini Tins have just appeared and meanwhile the attention is already shifting towards the huge Ultra-Premium Collections of November.

But that's exactly what makes it difficult.

What's 30th Celebration really worth buying?

Because only because 30th Celebration on a box, of course does not automatically mean that €100, €150 or even €400 is a good price.

Therefore, I not only look at which product is the most beautiful, but especially at what you actually get for your money. And yes: a beautiful promo counts for me personally absolutely.

Prices in this article were viewed on October 6, 2026 and can of course change quickly.

Let me get this straight. 30th Celebration remains a special set

30th Celebration appeared worldwide on September 16th and consists of more than 150 cards. In addition, there is a Pikachu Rare in every booster pack and there are no less than 30 different Pikachus to collect. Pokémon

That makes opening the set very nice. 30th Celebration buying is less fun, so far because there is also a downside: Almost every product is currently sold with a large jubileumpremium.

And as far as I'm concerned, you got to try to look through that.

. Booster Bundle our clear favorite

Contents: 6 booster packs
Released: 2 october 2026
Our judgment: COUPLE assuming the price is good

The Booster Bundle is actually exactly what many collectors want: No dice, sleeves, poster or giant box for which you then have no place.

Just six packs and therefore this is perhaps the best product for me at the moment to actually ripping.

The price is obviously important;

This advisory price is around €39,99 and was the cheapest available price on october 6 about €49,99.

For €50 I personally have little problem with this.

Going towards €80, €90 or €100? Then I quit.

Then you simply pay too much for six boosters.

Stock sample rating: 9/10 around retail hindered 5/10 at hype prices.

. Elite Trainer Box

I fully understand the attraction of this one.

The ETB looks tight, is actually just part of a sealed collection and contains:

  • 9 booster packs
  • a full-art Nidorina promo
  • sleeves
  • Energy Maps
  • dice
  • player guide and accessories

Pokémon officially confirms this content. Pokémon

But then the problem comes.

At the time of writing, the cheapest ETB according to the current Dropdex data is around €155, while a guide/advisory price of €59,99 is next. Dropdex

And I just love that.

There are actually copies sold around €79.99. That also means that it can be done.

That is why I would personally wait for a restock rather than now deposit €150+.

Under about $80? Interesting.

€150+? Absolutely not to me.

Stock sample rating: 8/10 as a product, 3/10 at the current price.

Mini Tins super nice to collect, less fun for your wallet

These are dangerous.

Not because they're bad.

Because all of a sudden you're thinking

I like that one... but I really need the other nine

And Pokémon knows that, of course.

There are ten different Mini Tin designs, divided into a Day and Night theme. The artwork cards together can form two larger images. Each tin contains two packs, a sticker sheet and an art card. Pokémon buy 30th celebration

As a display piece, I truly love them. buy 30th celebration

As a way to buy packs? Less.

The current cheapest loose Mini Tins stand around €24,99, against a target price of €12.99.

That's about €12.50 per pack before assigning value to the can.

Do you want one specific artwork for your collection? Be nice.

Would you just open 30th Celebration? I'd be looking for Booster Bundles sooner.

Stock sample rating: 8/10 for collectors, 5/10 for rippers.

. Poster Collection actually very nice... for the right price

I find this one secretly underestimated.

You get three 30th Celebration-packs, but also promo Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres and a large double-sided 30th Celebration poster. Pokémon

And here comes my personal weakness a little bit around the corner: I'm just a fan of cute promo.

As a result, I often like such a collection more than just three single boosters.

Only the Poster Collection currently costs about €50, while the advisory price mentioned is around €19.99.

For €20 to €30?

Right away.

For $50?

I'd rather buy six packs in a Booster Bundle.

Stock sample rating: 7/10 round retail, 4/10 for €50.

. Greninja & Sylveon ex Boxes only buy the promo

This category is actually quite simple.

You get a Greninja ex- or Sylveon ex-promo, the same card oversized and four booster packs. Pokémon There's nothing wrong with that.

In fact: as Greninja or Sylveon one of your favorite Pokémon is, I get that you want it.

But at high market prices, purely on pack value, they are difficult to defend.

The cheapest available ex Boxes are currently offered around €60, while Pokemon mentions about €25.99 as a retail price.

So for me:

Promo great? Buying around retail.

Just need packs? Booster Bundle.

. Pokémon Center ETB only for the real sealed collector

And then of course we have the Pokémon Center ETB.

It contains 11 packs instead of nine, two Nidorina promotional cards and . . . . . . one Nidorina with the Pokémon Center logo. Pokémon

This makes him as a sealed collectible absolutely more attractive than normal ETB, but not at any price xD.

Dutch providers currently require hundreds of euros; Sources recorded around writing even about €449,95 as the cheapest available copy. We see them sometimes copper, ca. 380.

Sorry. I like it. But €450 nice? No. For that amount you can buy so many more fun things for your collection.

Stock monster judgment: beautiful collectible, ridiculous secondary market price.

And then the big boy comes: the 30th Celebration UPC

On 6 november the Ultra-Premium Collections appear in a Day and Night version.

And this is probably the product that will produce the most FOMO around in the coming weeks. Not entirely wrong, because the content is absurd. Each UPC contains:

29 normal 30th Celebration booster packs + one special Classic Collection booster with three Classic Collection cards.

In addition, you get a Pikachu ex-promo, Espeon ex or Umbreon ex, sleeves, a playmat, deckbox, coin and other accessories. Pokémon

So this is a product that I understand collectors like to have sealed.

But there's another problem:

pre-order prices.

At the moment, loose Day and Night UPC are round €399 offered, against a mentioned advisory price of €199,99. I wouldn't run after that personally. We got to get some more drops!

And every time everyone becomes convinced that a Pokémon product is never available anymore, you already know that you need to be extra careful with FOMO.

Around €200-€250 my interest would increase enormously. $400? Then I'll wait.

Stockmonster rating: probably the fattest sealed product of the set .

So... what about the buy 30th celebration?

If I started 30th Celebration again today, my order would be something like this:

. Booster Bundle
Best option to actually open packs.

. UPC around normal retail price
Probably the most beautiful total product of the entire release.

. ETB around €70-€80
Iconic sealed product, nice promo and plenty of packs.

4. Poster Collection around retail
Especially fun because of the three Legendary Birds promos.

5. Mini Tins
Especially because you want to collect the artwork.

The Pokémon Center ETB I would only purchase if I could actually get it for a normal Pokémon Center prize. buy 30th celebration

Our main tip: don't let FOMO determine what Pokémon costs

30th Celebration is an anniversary set.

The question is huge. Buy 30th Celebration

This does not automatically mean that every current market price is logical.

On October 6th you can find Booster Bundles around €50 while a regular ETB goes towards €155. A few weeks ago the same ETBs were dropped around €80. That difference does not arise because the content has suddenly become twice as good.

Our strategy therefore remains simple: Buy 30th Celebration

know which products you want, decide in advance what you want to pay for them and wait for the right drop.

After all, 30th Celebration is meant to do one thing: Celebrate 30 years of Pokémon! And not to think after every purchase: Why the hell did I pay $200 for this? (this has happened to me more often than i want to admit)

What are you buying?
