Ascended Heroes, starring Mega Dragonite ex, has been officially revealed! As previously reported this is our special English set, the first products appear on 30 january and keep coming out all year round in 2026.
The set contains:
- More than 290 cards
- More than 30 Trainer cards
- 13 Mega Evolution Pokémon ex
- 6 Tera Pokémon ex and 20 Pokémon ex
- 33 illusion weird Pokémon
- 14 ultra weird Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Pokémon ex and Trainer Cards
- 7 Mega attack freak Mega Evolution Pokémon ex
- 22 special illustration weird Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, Pokémon ex and Supporter Cards
No mention has yet been made of the reverse holocrops in the set, unlike the Japanese version in which various variants come.
As with all special sets are loose boosters and booster boxes not sold. The booster packs are only available in boxed products.

Ascended Heroes Collection (available from 30 jan 2026):
Includes two Ascended Heroes booster packs, one promo card with a Pokémon of a Trainer, and one matching coin.
(Note: this product description suggests that a new Larrys Pokémon card will come!)
Ascended Heroes Tech Sticker Collection (available from 30 jan 2026):
Includes three booster packs; a single promo card with Charmander or Gastly; and a sticker sheet with Mega Charizard Y or Mega Gengar, intended for laptops, tablets and other devices.
(b) Rare-style promo card disregarded simply means a reprint from the set, but as a holo.)
Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box (available from 20 feb 2026):
Includes nine booster packs, one illustration weird-style promo card with Zekrom, and various play accessories.
Ascended Heroes Mini Tin (available from 20 feb 2026):
Includes two booster packs, one art card and one sticker card that fits the tin.
Ascended Heroes Premium Poster Collection (available from 20 march 2026):
Includes ten booster packs; one Mega attack weird-style promo card with Mega Gardevoir ex or Mega Lucario ex; and a full-size double-sided poster with a large print of the corresponding promo card.
Ascended Heroes Booster Bundle (available from 24 april 2026):
Contains six booster packs.
Later in 2026 more products that have not yet been announced will appear.
English maps
Set Info
Ascended Heroes contains maps from Japanese MEGA Dream ex, which comes out on November 28th. Our English set also contains new maps from the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection, like Mega Charizard Y ex.
To emphasize this, our English booster pack replaces Mega Hawlucha and Mega Eelectross by Mega Charizard Y.
Like every year we probably get a second special English set in the summer or autumn. Possible in honour of the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon TCG, which originally appeared in Japan in October 1996.
