1. Pikachu Illustrator (PSA 10)
The Pikachu Illustrator map from 1998 is often seen as the ultimate grail for Pokémon collectors. The card was not sold in packs, but awarded to winners of an illustration contest organized by the Japanese CoroCoro magazine. The winners were allowed to submit their own Pokémon illustrations, after which the best designs received a special prize card.
