Today, the Pokémon Company has officially revealed the long-awaited Pokemon 30th celebration set. After months of speculation, rumours and community discussions, we finally know what Pokémon has in store for the 30th anniversary of the franchise!

What is Pokémon 30th Celebration set?
Pokémon 30th Celebration set will be published on 16 September 2026 and will be dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Pokémon.

Especially the new holo-pattern with the anniversary stamp on it (the pikachus) already seems to attract a lot of attention within the community.
What does the Stockmonster community say?
Over the past few weeks, the Stockmonster Discord has been speculating about what Pokémon would do for the 30th anniversary.
Within the Stockmonster community, the last few months have been speculated on this anniversary set. Expectations were high. Many collectors hoped for a modern nod to the past, with new versions of iconic cards, a possible new rarity and of course enough nostalgia to honour the 30th anniversary. Also a strong presence of Johto was often mentioned, like special anniversary stamps and subtle references to the video games. Although we haven't seen everything yet, Pokémon seems to take some of those wishes seriously with the first revelations. . Many reactions range from . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Of course, we can't judge the full picture until all the maps are known, but the first unveiling already gives a lot of enthusiasm within the Pokémon TCG community.

This is still planned for Japan in 2026
Besides the unveiling of the Pokémon 30th Celebration Set also got a look at the Japanese release calendar for the rest of the year. And it's packed with interesting products.
Published on 31 July Storm Emeralda, a new extension including Mega Rayquaza ex. On the same day three come MEGA Starter Set ex Decks out, with Eevee ex, Zoroark ex and Meowscarada ex as eye-catchers.
On 16 September, of course, the Pokémon 30th Celebration Set, together with the 30th Celebration Premium Deck Set Espeon & Umbreon. Especially that last product will probably attract a lot of attention among collectors.
A month later, on 16 October, Pokémon brings nine different 30th Celebration Card Sets out. These include the 27 starter Pokémon promotional cards we saw earlier in the First Partner Collections.
For Johto fans, November will be extra interesting. On 13 November the Commission adopted Special Deck Set with Mega Feraligatr ex, Mega Dragonite ex and Mega Gengar ex. Especially the return of Feraligatr in Mega form will be a highlight for many collectors.
The year will then end with: Aura Seeker, an extension round Mega Lucario Z ex, which appears on 27 november.
In addition, Pokémon appears to be an annual High Class Pack although no official details are yet available.
