30th Celebration is less than two weeks out and the following products are already coming. On 6 november appear the Day and Night versions of the Pokémon 30th Celebration UPC: Espeon ex daytime and Umbreon ex night. These are perhaps the most interesting products of the entire anniversary release for me.
Not just because of the huge amount of packs. I'm a promo fan anyway, and I think it's very strong here. The Day & Night-Pikachu ex promoters, combined with Espeon ex or Umbreon ex with all the other Pokémon cameos, give the boxes a real identity. For me, this feels much more like an anniversary product that you'll recognize later than just a big box of boosters.
Where can you buy the Pokémon 30th Celebration UPC?
I would definitely not gamble on one webshop.

CatchYourCards has both the Day as Night-UPC are already on their own 30th Celebration page, with November 6th as the release date.
Pocket Games
I would also keep this open.
PocketGames is active with 30th Celebration and used for example a maximum of one copy per variant per account/address.
I personally find these limits to be positive.
I prefer more collectors with one product than one shopping basket with ten pieces.
Intertoys
Don't forget.
Intertoys has several 30th Celebration products in its range. For several current products, Intertoys even explicitly to the physical stores when ordering online is not possible. Lately, Pokemon products can no longer be ordered online at the Intertoys and you will have to queue to get a chance on products from the 30th.
Smyths Toys
Smyths is also on our list.
Several 30th Celebration products have been published there, including ETB, Booster Bundle, Mini Tins and other collections.
With that, Smyths towards November 6 is absolutely a retailer I would continue to check.

But here is one important warning:
look closely at the actual seller.
Bol is a marketplace and with popular Pokémon releases, providers, versions and prices can vary considerably. So don't just search the product name and press order blind.
Check what you buy, who sells it, and see if the price makes sense to you.
Unfortunately, Bol.com gets huge bots and it's hard to get this at release at Bol, we have some tricks in the Stockmonster Discord to get products.
Why is the Pokémon 30th Celebration UPC so popular?
Pokémon didn't exactly fill half this UPC.
Each version contains 29 regular 30th Celebration booster packs and one special Classic Collection booster pack with three cards.
So in total you just get 30 packs.
In addition, there are two foil promos: Pikachu ex plus Espeon ex in the Day version or Pikachu ex plus Umbreon ex in the Night version. This includes a playmat, 65 sleeves, a deckbox, coin and dice.
This makes the box attractive to almost any type of collector.
Do you want to open a lot of 30th Celebration? You'll have a bunch of packs right away.
Are you collecting sealed? Then you have two distinct boxes.
Are you especially a fan of promotions or Eeveleutions? Then it probably becomes even harder to ignore this release.
I personally think the promo guys are really cool and I totally understand why people already doubt whether they want Day, Night or, ultimately, both. The biggest disadvantage is the expected price...the price range is already around 300 euros or more...that would still amount to about 10 euros per package (and not counting the promotions and asceroires). For me, the threshold is 350 per UPC, even though it hurts to admit. ..

Easier said than done, because the Pokémon 30th Celebration UPC personally ticks a lot of boxes.
I like sealed products with a clear theme of my own, I'm a fan of promotional products and I think that Day & Night concept is just very well executed. But that still doesn't mean I'm gonna pay every price for it.
I'm going to see what happens at Dutch shops in the next few weeks, what limits shops use and how many opportunities actually come.
It is very tempting to see the first high price immediately as a market price, while we simply don't know how wide the product eventually becomes available well before release.
Does the real 30th Celebration madness have to begin?
Maybe.
30th Celebration itself appeared worldwide on 16 september, but Pokémon rolls out various products spread over the autumn. The UPC & Ditto Premium Collection and Mew/Mewtwo Figure Collections will follow on November 6.
So we are far from at the end of this anniversary release.

30 packs. Espeon or Umbreon. Exclusive promoters. Classic Collection pack. Two different sealed designs..
My plan remains simple:
set up shops, notify, set a maximum amount in advance and then see what 6 november and pre-orders offer opportunities.

Which UPC is better: Espeon Day or Umbreon Night?
You don't have to do it in terms of quantity of packs: it's the same.
So I'd especially look at which Pokémon, promos and look you think is the coolest.
